Vinyl fences
Privacy and rail fences with no staining, no rot, and an easy rinse when the pollen comes.
Overview
Low upkeep, with a caveat
Vinyl never needs stain or paint, won't rot, and cleans with a hose. Under heavy tree cover, where mildew and pollen build up on wood, that matters.
Check your rules first. The Woodlands Residential Development Standards prohibit plastic and fiberglass fences, so vinyl is off the table there. Many HOAs elsewhere allow it, often with color limits.
- No staining or sealing.
- Won't rot or splinter.
- Not allowed in The Woodlands; check HOA rules elsewhere.

Questions
Common questions
Will vinyl warp in Texas heat?
Quality vinyl is formulated for UV and heat. Lower-grade product and dark colors are more prone to issues, so we use reputable product and set posts properly.
Can I use vinyl in The Woodlands?
No. The Township’s standards prohibit plastic and fiberglass fences.
