What makes a fence last here
Between the humidity, summer storms, shade from the pines, and soil that swings from sticky clay to loose sand, fences north of Houston take a beating. Ours start with posts set at least 24 inches deep in concrete, three rails on wood fences, rails fastened with Simpson brackets, and galvanized ring-shank nails.
Just as important, the fence has to pass review. In The Woodlands that means the Township's standards and your village RDRC; elsewhere, your HOA's guidelines. We put the approval packet together for you.
How it works
Questions
Common questions
How long does a backyard fence take?
Most residential fences take one to three days on site once materials arrive. Approval from your RDRC or HOA and Texas 811 locates usually set the start date.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes. Tear-out and haul-off are listed on your quote, and the old fence leaves with the crew.
Can you work with my neighbor on a shared fence?
Yes. We can quote both households, coordinate access, and match an existing fence where the new one ties in.
